Vocation Support Profiles
Friar Bruce,ofm
OFM - Vocation Director (USA)
Boston, Massachusetts

"A Sunday school teacher asked me if I ever thought of becoming a priest! From central Massachusetts to central New Hampshire where I attended LaSalette Minor Seminary in Enfield I wound up in Fall River, Massachusetts where I worked with the Hawthorne Dominican sisters caring for those with terminal cancer. It was the 70s, oh what a time! I eventually became a registered nurse but never forgot my Sunday school teacher's question. And when I met the Franciscan Friars I knew I had found the answer. After initial formation and seminary, I have spent the past 28 years in parochial ministry. Now through my Provincial, God has called me to vocations and formation. May God's Holy Will be done."
