an unmarried man,

who dedicates himself to God,

through the vows of Poverty, Charity and Obedience,

in the order founded by St. Francis,

living in fraternity,

and serving God, the Church and the Province,

through the talents he has been blessed with.

A Franciscan Friar Priest

(ordained)

an unmarried man,

who dedicates himself to God,

through the vows of Poverty, Charity and Obedience,

in the order founded by St. Francis,

living in fraternity,

and serving God, the Church and the Province,

through the talents he has been blessed with;

and takes the place of Jesus in Sacramental Ministry.
